197 Stereo

Had a search and can't find a definitive answer so here goes:

I'm getting a 197 Cup and want to change the head unit.
I also, however, wish to maintain the display and steering wheel controls.

Is there an option out there that anyone has discovered?

You should be able to do this but you would need to buy a lead to allow the aftermarket HU interface with the steering wheel controls. best bet would be to ring an audio shop to get the prices though. try www.caraudiosecurity.com

YOu can use the controles but im not sure if the lead still lets the Clock Display bit show information from the player...i may be wrong.

If it does work let me know as im looking to change my head unit soon enough.
