1st gear!

1st gear is becoming hard to engage in the valver

since fitting this b*****d gearnob summit has strated clicking and gears arnt to easy to engage

the cars had a full gearbox rebuid and clutch and cable about 10k miles ago. so dont think its that?

wish i wasnt so violent now wit the removal i seem 2 have damaged some thing

Doubt anything needs replacing......just adjusting.

so does it have an adjuster? if so where and how do i adjust it

you will really have to pop under the car and have a look as there are only 2 real areas. Below the gearstick and below the gearbox.......not much to adj as i dont think fitting a knob would throw it out of alignment.

dean ur 1st gear is same as mine to engage and mines ok!!
