1st signs of my Alpine head unit on the blink?

When ever i turn the ignition on or off on the car the Alpine head unit makes a buzzing noise for 3 seconds approx. Sounds like the motors inside it

Is this a sign that its on its way out as its never made this noise before??

have u got a dvd screen with it ?? if so its only that makin noise which is normal. if not then ymmm :S

Check the supply fuse for the +12v supply.
