- 2.0 16v Conversion...

Hey ho... My friend has a 1.2 Clio and basically wants more power. Theres not much point in messin about so hes going for a 2.0 16v.

Can anybody please advise which is the best engine to use, whats needed from the donor car and as much info as poss.

Isnt the Williams engine also used in the Megan? Im thinking a scrappers will let a 2.0l 16v megan engine go for a lot less than a williams jobbie.

Find a 2.1 turbo engine or put in a 3.0 v6 in the rear !!!

he will need the breaks off the RSI as i dont think the willy ones will fit!

yes u can use the megane bottom end which most peops do with a 16v head on it!

Extra power through a lot of expense. Still wont hadle and look as good as a valver and be a pig to eventually sell!

i would look for a complete accident damaged williams or valver and then you have everything you need.

umm 1.2s dont have anti roll bars, with that much power that could be dangerous could it not?

if you get a complete car(especially one thats had a large rear end shunt)then you will have most the parts you need.yep defo need to swap the anti roll bar over.
