2.0 8v over revving and smoke comming from breather pipes

Car  mk1 clio hybrid
hi. i have just fitted a 2.0 8v engine into my clio i have started it up and it is revving up straight away and there is also smoke coming from the breather pipes can any 1 help point me in the right direction of what the problem is thanks

not much smoke but theres no pressure so it barely comes out. its as if the throttle is wide open all th time when its not if tht makes sense

so it revs flat out when its started? what throttle position do you have? is the butterfly fully closed?

well its sucking in air from somewhere badly, the breathers are supposed to have some fumes in but not black smoke, id say at a stab in the dark possibly piston ring wear, causing too much crankcase pressure, would explain the smoking breathers

thanks for the info mate grately appreciated al strip the engine down and see wat i find. thanks agen

well im only clutching at straws as iv not seen it chap, see if you can get someone to check it over if ya can
