2 bucket method?

what the 2 bucket method? I've read this a couple of times but don't know exactly what it is...

how I clean mine:

I spray it with the hose
then foam it
then hijet the foam of
wash it with autoglym shampoo and meguiars mint
then rinse that of with the hose or the karcher
then dry it of with autoglym towel

1 bucket with clean water, 1 bucket with soapy water.
Dip your mitt in the clean water after every time you touch the car with it.
The idea is to remove any grit thats stuck on it and avoid swirling.

2 buckets
1 'clean' & 2 'dirty'

start with clean microfibre, dunk in clean bucket.
Wash part of car.
Dunk microfibre in the dirty bucket and clean as much as possible.
Rinse the part washed.
^^^repeat above stages^^^

Get two buckets

Fill one with shampoo/warm water - fill the other with normal water.

Soap the mitt up and wash the car as you normally would (after you have foamed or jet washed the main bulk of grit away obv) but instead of putting the (dirty) mit back into the clean soapy water, put it in the other bucket with no soap in there and rinse off all the dirt etc off of your mit.

Repeat!

2BM = 2 buckets one with Shampoo in and one with clean water.

Dip Wash Mit on Shampoo Bucket
Wash Panel
Dip Mit in Clean water to rinse
Repeat until car washed.

Keeps dirt out of your shampoo bucket and prevents (Or Helps anyway) to prevent paintwork damage.

IMO, in addition to using the 2nd bucket to rinse off grit, you should also use the hose end to do this a few times during the wash (hose the mitt). There will still be grit left on the mitt after you dip it in bucket 2, as you are rinsing it in a bucket of dirty water!

No. Sorry NO.

22 buckets is just silly, its no way near enough!! You need 1 bucket per particle of grit for purity and also a back up of mits, i would suggest 650 buckets and 650 mits to be on the safe side.

You should also lick the car dry and it is softer than a microfibre.
