2 ipods on 1 pc?

is it possible to sync to diffrent ipods on 1 pc i am thinking of getting a cheapy (scratched up 30gbvid)just to leave in my car(dension ice link) rather than keep pulling my shiny new one out all the time?

Dual boot into Ubuntu. Put one in Windows and the other on Ubuntu.

Get NTFS access on the ubuntu install so you can still acess all the same music as the windows partition.

i have 3 ipods on my PC. just have different playlists set up in itunes for each one, and adjust the settings so each ipod only syncs to it's own specific playlists.

Just means you have the main library with everyone's music in and you copy what you want from that into the playlists for your own ipod. or if you wanted 2 ipods set up exactly the same that's even easier, just plug it in and make sure it's downloading the same playlists as the existing one.

Can't you just load the Live CD and then connect as many iPods as you want, and then mount your NTFS drive to access all your information (that's if it doesn't already mount it)

Yep, i run 4 different ipods through my Mac without any probs.

I have 4 ipods on my pc, no problems at all, the problem is syncing one ipod on more than one pc lol

I use two iPods on the same PC, one for the car and one for the home - I sync the same stuff to both though (although one is 4GB so only takes certain playlists whereas the 8GB takes most of the content).

i think your best way of doing this is to make another account, its nice n easy compared to the other ideas.

I bought my mum a shuffle for her b'day and set it up on my pc but i've moved to uni now so she needs to have it set up on my dad's PC at home.
