Buy it, use it until it breaks, throw it away, buy another one.

Can't go wrong at that price. I started with a £7.99 job from Makro...got two years out of that one.

Now using a Halfrauds 2-tonner my old man left me when he emmigrated, can't see it every failing tbh.

the halfrauds one was the one i was looking at. about £25.
can the quality reali be that much better tho!

it doesn't seem to be coming up in the link but will presumably be TUV approved (?). worth a whirl and, as said, it wouldn't cost you much if it does ever develop a problem.

Could do with a jack, got to be better than the crappy standard one anyway.

Need to pop in see if they have any left.

I did look at that the other day. ive already got 2 axle stands. dont think id ever have the car up on all 4? but looks a bargain!

For those worried about if it will fit under the car, drive up some planks of wood to raise the cara bit, then try it.

Unless it breaks with you under it!! :quiet:

I'd invest in some axle stands to complement it. Check Halfrauds website, they were offering the jack with axle stands in with it for £25 not long back.

lol i wouldnt wanna give that a try mate! i got me some axle stands.
bought that jack. it looks fine to me!

TUD approved, 2 tonne limit. so all good i reakon!

I dont think Halfrauds are doing that £25 deal any more?

I see they have a jack with a box for £27.99

And 2 tonne axel stands for £12.99

Which comes to £40.98.

If i can get the screwfix one in store ill save a tenner. If the halfords deal is on? Ill go for that.

most important thing about buying trolley jacks is what car(s) you can get them under and how high they will lift em

Min and max height of the saddle.
