2 x 172 ph1 clios ECU swap?

Hello,

I currently own two identical 172 RS Clio sports both ph1. Here is my question, can I swap their ECU's? Can there be anything that comes up?

Why you might ask? well I have a suspicion that one of them is acting up.

I really want to try this out today, so any quick answer will be highly appreciated!

You will need to swap the UCH type unit which is underneath the glovebox on RHD models, also the key and decoder ring to get past the immobiliser.

You don't need to change the decoder ring.

Are there not 2 model types of ph1? CB0M and CB1C ? Or code no's. very similar. Will this not be relevant when swapping ECU's? I'm not a techy.. just posing the question.

There is a slight variance at some point due to later Ph1 having two lambdas.

Interesting to say the least. I will try this for sure! Just, what is that UHC type unit.. Google seems to be of no use for this search.
