200 exhaust noise...

...is not very thrilling when stationary. Going to get some drive by clips next, see if under full load it sounds better than a sewing machine.

One of my friends has a clio 197 and has a itg panel filter and left the top off the airbox sounds great with a standard exhaust
maybe its the induction that sounds good on the 197/200

Yeah mine had an ITG and the cover removed, they do sound good!

Doesn't taking the top off give you flatspots? Disconnecting the air feed into the air box on my Cup did.

Hmmmm, might give it a try today.

Not a fan of removing the airbox lid, but imo the stock system on the 197/200 is a good bit of kit. They loosen up nicely the more miles you put on them.

I couldn't tell the difference so I left it off, mine was remapped without it so maybe that explains why.
