2001 RSI

Im looking to buy a 2001 RSI 1.6. What are people views on them. Im 19 and got 2 years no claims. Insurance is 500 on a 1.2 with mods so i dont think insurance would be an issue.

Any advice would be gratefully accepted.

Good cars, if you hold out till early next year mine will be up for sale.
Anyway power is a good step up from the 1.2, mine costs 1k insurance mods declared, with 0ncb. 1/2 leather interior, elec mirors, sun roof, alloy bonnet.

my mate just bought one on 105k, as said definately a nice step up from my 1.2 power wise but does feel abit tired on that mileage

I think average they are on 70-80k from what ive seen, mines soon to hit 70k and it feels nice and loose.
