2002 172 gearbox mount

i think the gearbox mount as gone as car is knocking when changing gear ive found the one under gearbox that looks really worn as there is a lot of movement when i rock engine is there anymore to check and where can you get these from apart from dealers thanks

dealer only part as far as im aware. wouldnt bother with any cheap copys anyway.

also check the upper gearbox mount its under the battery, they do come loose you can get replacement mounts from k-tec racing, but i would go with the renault ones the part no for the lower gearbox mount is 7700795688 hope this helps

i done the 4 mounts on tuesday on my car, part numbers and prices at trade price....

Hi there, I had this, for me it was the gearbox lower mount, bit of a gotcha, because it is the mount under the battery, but it tightens from both ends. Mine wwas the lower nut that came loose. Took me ages to work it out, because the top part of it was still tight! Hope this helps, Joe

my car didnt knock in the first place was just a bit of movement in the engine so done all 4
