I have a 2004 Clio Dynamique and want to upgrade the speakers. I have purchased the following set http://www.caraudiocentre.co.uk/product_m-in-phase-xtc5_p-19737.htm.
I have looked around the internet and from what i can tell the side speaker should be easy to change. The tweeters are were i am worried. They are situated as per the pictures below.
I believe the crossover are built into the tweeters so once i remove them i should be able to fit the ones that come with the set.
My question is, how do i remove the tweeters? I have put a screwdriver down the side of one and given it an experimental pull, it seems as if they will just pop out, but i dont want to risk breaking something.
If i need to remove part of the dash how do i do this?
Anyone who has the same/similar car who can confirm they pop out or otherwise would be much appreciated.
