2007 197 ‘crunchy’ gearbox

Just bought a 2007 197 privately a few weeks ago..... the gearbox is already starting to prove a bit of an issue.... takes a lot of persuasion to get into first.

Are we talking new gearbox or clutch? Once it’s going ... all other gears seem ok

If it is The gearbox, it will probably need Fully rebuilding at some point anyway, and whilst it’s out you may as well do the clutch.

similarly, if it is the clutch causing your issue, whilst it’s all in bits, you may as well do the gearbox.
