204 bhp with ITB's?

Errrrrrrrr engine must be crap?
200bhp is exactly what I'd expect from the mods on that car - it's a Ktec ITB kit with Ktec cams - it's nothing majorly special

What makes you think it should make more power?
Mine btw makes 195bhp and it's a very strong engine - only difference that car has is cams and cams don't make you much more power

Its far from a massive spec and no expense spared, pretty basic tbh....don't believe everything someone says in an advert.

  XC90, 330d, Trophy’s
Not sure if its just the way the advert is laid out when viewing via the phone, but that was one of the hardest and worst descriptions I've ever tried to read :(

I thought the same. Illiterate springs to mind, it puts you right off from first paragraph.

I thought ITBs got around the 215 mark..

Depends whose rollers were used. Don't get hooked up on numbers, they're only good on paper;)
Same car, different rollers could vary immensely.

  53 Clio's & counting
As Tony says, it's all pub talk but as a general rule of thumb a standard engine on a good map with itbs should be somewhere between 190-200bhp.

Remember the standard engine will be somewhere around 165-170bhp as standard so 25-30 bhp extra is somewhat about right.

But figuees don't tell the whole story - you will be making more power at any point in the revs, and torque will be up by around 20lb ft and again will be produced lower down - it makes the car 100% different to drive and a lot quicker due to the huge chu k of extra power at the lower and mid ranges.

Add cams in the mix and it will push the powef above 200, but again you really need to ignore figures and experience how itbs change the character of the car - it's how they should have been from the factory, makes the car come alive

Wow Im sure Ive seen an ITBd clio with 215bhp..
Could be mistaken. .

Yeah mine and quite a lot of others were rr'd at 215ish but as others say all rollers are different. Mine then went on another set of rollers and did 176bhp so figures really aren't a good representation especially from whatever company you choose to do the work as the results are easily fiddled with no matter what company you are dealing with.

My *aim* figure of 205 is purely because I know what the car did on that set of rollers before and they have no reason to falsify results.

Cool Thanks for clearing that up, I was getting tied up on figures, guess I should test drive and compare with the van as a base vehicle..
