205/40/r16 on a mk1 172

got some turinis off rich_16v and they've come with 205/40/r16 yoko paradas

will this tyre be ok on a mk1 172 dropped on apex, or will i need to change to 195/45 ?

I'd have thought with the 40 profile sidewall it would be ok but I'd check with chris or someone that has done it.

haven't got a car to check them on lol.

i know its the cup turinis so the offset should be ok, i just remember some people say they got catching of 205 width.. but on a 40 i thought i'd get away with it as its not exactly slammed at 40mm
