Will they rub? Would I be alright with them on the back and 195 on the front? It's probably lowered 50/60mm

Cheers.

My mate has some 205/45/16's in his garage. I was going to buy a set of 195's but if the wider ones would go on I may take those off his hands.

Yeah they'll fit just fine. If anything they'll be better at protection your rims against kerbing

Should be ok if you've bent/cut the bumper bracket excesses in the front arches out of the way. I'm lowered about 50mm, and had 205s but had rubbing on the bracket before I sorted them out. Only had 195s on since sorting the brackets, but I think 205s would be fine.

I run 195 on the fronts and 205 on the rear, it alters the car's nature a bit, brings a bit of understeer around tight corners and roundabouts but feels much more comfortable at speed through sweeping/longer bends for me. Personal preference though.

I'm down about 50mm too Edd on my 182, I had to bend the bumper bracket out the way, I still get a bit of rubbing on the inner wings if i'm driving spiritidly and hit a dip in the road causing the suspension to soak it up. A hammer would sort it out mind but i've had enough of hammers at the min after breaking my thumb with one lol dont ask!

When i've worn my 205s out i shall be trying 195s

Have you got the Leggerer's on then Rich??

Yup :) Was unsure at first but now i like them a lot, Theres a few shots of it kicking around in the West Yorkshire meet pic threads.
