I have had to get a mate in the trade to order me a new driveshaft.
He has made some calls and found me a non genuine copy shaft for a motor factor for my 172 cup. The motor factors have said that the 172 cup shafts are different.
I imagine they mean that they have an ABS ring on them which is not used? And are just mentioning this.
Better be the correct shaft that they deliver as I want the car fixed tonight.
Are non genuines any good? The Renault master tech he works with reckons that they used pattern parts at Renault sometimes if they didnt have any genuines in stock.
