I was involved with ISP's (Easynet) but not BT mate. Which Bt people do you deal with though?

Lol easynet I know em they got fibres with us. Im sure I just migrated a load of Easynet and Bulldog circuits from BT to openreach.

Just various BT people in walsall, deal with peeps all over the country thats why the mileage on my 172 sucks lol

Exactly I am on the up to 8mb service I live close to the exchange and get just over 6mb, yet my friend who lives about 4 miles away in the sticks is paying the same as me but struggles to get over 1mb.

Its all about marketing, the reality is quite often very different.

Exactly the same here. As I am with Pipexhomecall and on the upto 8 meg service, but only get download speeds of around 6 meg (on a good day!)

Just checked to see the fasted BB available to me, got the following results:
