I'm with Footman James, they deal with specialist cars, I've been with them for years. To keep the cost down limit the miles per year to as low as you can go (minimum is 1500 per year) and increase the excess.

Elephant, I was 24 when I had a group 20 car insured with them. I'm 26 now & pay £700 with them on the vee.

use the on-line search engines like confused.com and that new one what ever it is called.

Always got my price down £200 or more.

Sometimes i dont know how some people end up with so much cheaper quotes than I. All I can think of is that I am a statistical error. For my Williams I am paying £900 a year fully comp with 4 years protected NCB one named driver (My fiance [lowered the premium.].) in a C rated post code area, additionally my car has 8,000 limited miles and finally one crash in past 3 years or whatever which was not my fault - insured by Admiral.

Just can't understand how some f*****s end up with so much lower quotes.
