expensive month David....

I know what you mean Chris....it does feel better the more miles i do :D

My 12k cost me £200 and i provided my own oil....hoping its not going to be more than that

  Weeman sucks ****

it wont be £320! mine was more or les the same as marks. not much is done on the 24k. the 36k cost me 300 quid!

my 48k is going to cost me £240

Well from previous posts it seems to depend on where you are the country..............people have been quoted £320 for a service................but if you supply your own oil then that helps eh :D

Hopefully youll be in rite area where you can get a FAIR price Ang............and mine did include a lot of additional work that I wanted doing.

stus, i cant understand why though mate, thats madness. or is that the cost for your v6?

theres not a lot of work to be done at 24k, look in the manual, you could do most of it yourself.

Indeed. Why take it to Renault when its just the basic oil and filters change plus the usual safety checks.

I paid about £100 from an AA approved autocentre (20% off if youre a member) with genuine Renault parts and own oil supplied.

Renault did offer an engine flush as part of their service but it wasnt justified at £220!!

I paid £200 when i bought mine for 3 years free servicing, after that Ill not be at a Renault Garage with it and my warranty will be up.

Well worth asking bout service packages when you buy, you can have 3 services for the price of 1

Yeah Chris thats for the Vee......the price for a straight 24,000mile service is £172 all up...............the quoted price for my 24,000mile service including all the extra work was £480...............but that came down to £320..............using various means ie supplying my own oil, hard bargainig etc.

Renault Cardiff have just quoted me £216 inc. VAT for my 172s 24k service. Pah! Time to ring an independent Renault specialist methinks. Watch this space!

Want to take mine in for me ??!!.....lol.....they see me coming a mile off

Right.

I visited a local Renault specialist (ex dealer) today and was quoted £120 + VAT. Probably wasnt quite as cheap as Id been hoping, but I know the garage by reputation - and its better than paying £60 more from Renault.

And everybody thought I was stupid when I took them in beers for doing my CAT quickly!!

Result = £100 off servicing!
