24k service on 182

Can anybody tell me exactly what this consists of??

I was told by Toomey when i phoned just now, oil, filter and something to do with the ac and was quoted £233.21. I havnt taken them up on it yet as i thought it sounded abit steep.

Any ideas on how much i should be looking at really??

Same as a 12k, but usually brake pads are done as well.

Cheers mate but that dont really help as i didnt have the car for its 12k!!! Lol

The brake pads were replaced at 14k when i bought the car from the dealership so im hoping they wont need to be done really.

That cost of £233.21 wouldnt have included the pads though would it!?

the 182 i have just bought has just had its 12k service done and was it £215 without pads.HTH

the pads are not included in the service price.

Its a essentially oil and filter, ailr filter and maybe a cabin filter. (some dealers include it in the price others dont) The majority of the cost is labour and the price is quite high. But down south they do seem to be higher. I paid £145 on my 172 24k service, but it was a couple of years ago.

Phone around a lot - prices varied by £100 when I checked. I paid £186.97 without air filter in London.

On my 24k service they did oil, oil filter, air filter, cabin filter, checked wear on pads/discs/tyres and applied a "lubrication pack" apparently.

Yes please Deb, mines up for its first MOT aswell so if he can do that il probably use him instead of a dealership.

I may do the same for my 24k and MOT. Both looming in a months time!!
Do you get sent a reminder in the post that your car is three years old and needs MOT? Just wondering if anything needs to be taken as I obviously don't have a certificate

i dont think mark does MOT's mate. Its slighly more than ure average workshop, more motorsport focused.

changed oil, oil filter, air filter etc.
24k service. cost me £160.
but then add on 10% discount i got.
