picking up my new clio 182 2morow!! do i need to take my insurance documents with me to show them?

if its on finance then normally then want them a day before. either way i would definately take them with you.

only problem is i aint got covernote yet as bought insurance totay. cover starts the night at 12.01!!! however paying cash so they shouldnt be bothered ay?

get ur insurance company to fax them a cover note.

yeah they will normally do that for you if you speak to them then send you a hard copy in the post.

The dealer will need your insurance docs to tax the car. Cover note should be fine, but youll need to drop them in early so they have time to tax it.

Dealer has told me that they can use a faxed cover note to tax the car, but I need to take the cover note with me on Tuesday when I pick mine up or no collection!

How come your getting your car only a few days before the 05 plate comes couldnt hold out any longer ?

youll need them for car tax unless you are going to be 2nd owner on v5
