2nd Lamda

Hello All,
Picked up my 172 the other week, came with the ktech exhaust and decat pipe. Noticed it had a slightly strange idle and power delievery can be a little unsmooth. When car was up in the air the other day i notiecd even with the decat the 2nd lamda was still plugged in. Now i know on a number of cars i have seen you leave the 2nd lamda out with decat and just collar it. I just wanted to make sure thats what i need to do with this aswell?

It's more than likely a fault with your first lambda. MPG bit down too?

if you are leaving the second in though it will read completely wrong measurements?

The post cat lambda is just for diagnostic purposes

My post cat lambda is still in with decat and I have no running problems and no emissions warning light on a 172 cup.
