I agree 4.8k is a lot for a 1.2 dynamique, there are renaultsports going at that money now. Dont jump in head first, I did with my Clio and I paid £4.2k which was probably a good £500 more than it was worth. If he's a salesman he's screwing you, and he has been trying to sell for a while. Have a quick look around you'll find something a lot better priced!

Should have just bought it off me fully loaded for 4.3k ;)

are they sold and as high miles? no lol. have u not looked at those links i posted loads of lovely cars on piston heads, thats where the prices should be pitched. If you were gonna pay 4800 for a car, i'd get this one with more mods and half the miles and newer.

just spoke to clio_sport himself and he basically said fook off ill go sell it locally, but i though he had lots of people interested?? hmmm...liar!
why dont he just be sensible and say ok then ill sell for 4200 or something.

il tell you whats happened!!

i want £5000 for it, and you agreed that and said you were coming to pay a deposit last week!!

then you kept txting me changing your offer!! eventually settled for £4800 with you, but you still keep offering more!!

listen to all these and go get one thats cheaper!! ive know i can sell it locally for that, ive been offered £4700 from a lad round corner, and if its not sold for as close to £5000 as possible by end of january, he can have it, as thats when I need to pay off my loan!!

im not in a rush as i got a bonus at work, but ive bought a mini now for the girlfriend as im getting a golf for a company car so dont need this anymore!!

thats fair enough, but it aint fair for selling it for more than its worth, cant u see, its not just 1 opinion its several, drop the price, you know im interested just not at that high a price, if you wont thats fair enough.

and if the local lad drops out of the sale, il just take whatever i get for it!! i only owe £3800 on my loan so anything over that is a bonus, but understandably, i want as much as possible for it!!

and mark, lol, you think i bought your car, just to sell it for more!! yeah, ok then, you think that!!

hmmm u bought the car for 4350, sell bits off it, then try to sell it for 700 quid more? yeah wonder why i think that.

dont care that your selling the car, but lying about what u paid for it to get more? not on really

the seller sounds like an idiot.

i wouldnt even bother having any more communication with him... he won't sell his car for that money, end of!

im selling it for what i think its worth now, you sold it for what you thought it were worth!! i think you could have got quite a bit more for it when you sold it but thats my opinion!!

right well it looks like if i havent sold it by end of january, il txt ya then mate if ya still havent got one!!
and the end of the day, i own the car, so have the right to price it in my opinion!! and i know il get at least £4700 for it, so at the end of the day, im not gonna sell it on here for £4000, just because some people I dont know say its worth that!!

its a clio website, people on here know what there talking about thats why they help or offer advice, whether you like it or not.
stop acting the big man, if u have someone interested then sell it, i hope there happy until they find out how much you want, and your right i would of paid 4800 for it as i dint really know how much its worth until the helpful people on here pointed me in the right direction.

ill offer £4000 in cash, ill give you a while to decide but if your debt or whatever is 3900 then im sure youll be happy with 4000, means 100 to spend on misses!

to be honest mate i'd wait for joshydees. mint mint car, and a 1.4 as well iirc?

also try not to 'fall in love' with a car too much. I know you sometimes see the perfect car and pay well over the odds for it, but your young and you've got lots of time to make a standard car your perfect car. I did that with my yellow one, fell in love with it, offered em a price and they turned it down. Was gutted but g/fs dad convinced me to walk away, and an hour later they rung me to tell me they'd except it. Just goes to show dont rush into things.

Also with my black one, part of the enjoyment of modding it was seeing it improve over the years and i think sometimes if you buy one pre done you miss out a bit on that enjoyment
