3 bleeps when locking on my 172

only does it every now and then but i assume its some sort of warning. whats it warning me about though?

It aint a warning as such iirc, read about somewhere think its something to do with the ecu the alarm system aint set correctly so you just need to re-lock it. If I have remembered that correctly.

its because your locking it too soon after shutting the door..leave it for 3 seconds or so. Also alarm will go off if you unlock it and open door straight away, something to do with ECU arming and disarming the alarm iirc.

The ECU is still active when you press the button. The car still locks and the alarm is on its just a warning. Mine does it every now and then when i do what kris86 said and locking it too quick
