3 recent problems, dont know if theyre related:

Banging sound when pulling away in 1st and stopping - engine mounts checked already.

oil pressure gauge sits at 0 when the engine is cold then reads the pressure a few mins later. (only started happening since had engine mounts checked - could be loose connector but only does it when cold)

intermitant loss of power from 4000rpm upwards in all gears.


ideas please?

it is due a 90k service could the loss of power simply be down to plugs and filter?

for reference if anyone does a search on power loss - after swapping the spark plugs everything is now fine with that side of things.

Sounds like they have interfered with the wiring on the oil pressure sensor when they checked the engine mounts if you ask me!

Also have you checked your CV joints for the banging?
