3000w amp?

New to the scene, i recenetly got my first car, and well a friend of mine has a sub in his car so i thoughut i want one too, they sound good.

Having a look on ebay i came across this 3000w amp for around £50? I dont really know much about them but isn't that really cheap? Is it worth getting?

Not worth the money. I'd be looking for something second hand on ebay from a reputable make. Take note of the RMS figures, not the 'max power' in watts. If it doesn't list them, don't bother as that's the true power the amp is putting out and is probably MUCH lower than the big number in the title. Or you could just go for an 'active' enclosure from someone like Vibe to start you off on a budget. That way you get an amp that's matched to the sub in one package (big savings to be had second hand)
