3rd Brake Light Question

When buying the Cup Spoiler Brake Light does the white plastic clip thats already attached to the brake light come out?To be able to wire it up correctly using existing wiring before plugging it into the brake light itself when spoiler is fitted to the car?
any help is really appriciated

Slightly confused by your post, but a new brake light comes equipped with the electrical connector so there should be no swapping needed
If you mean the brakelight connector that's fitted to your 172 then I think it needs butchering from memory to fit the cup connector.

Cheers daz,i thought i might of confused people,ill try again lol,ive got the cup brake light and its obviously a red strip and its got a white connector clip already inserted which is square and the one on my car 172ff is round i no i have to butcher the wiring but my question was does the white conector already inserted on the brake light come out to be able to wire the white clip to my existing wiring before clicking it into the brake light?
