Does anyone know where I can get a reasonably priced 4 branch/tubular exhaust manifold from or can you get custom ones because K-Tec and Prima Racing want nearly £350 for one and then I need to get it fitted?

350 is a good price. i wanted one on my 1.2 as its blowing and was quoted around 500 including fitting (custom made one)

i was told by tonnes of people theres really no point. so i didnt bother

Do thy actually gain anything then performane wise, as I was told it gives a quicker response?

350+ is about the going rate for a nice manifold really.I have the k-tec one on my clio (mk1) it looks great, but only makes a tiny difference to performance(tiny bit more pull from say 4.5k onwards)It would be difficult to reccomend @ the price unless your manifold had failed and needed replacing. IMO.

on a non sport mk 2 clio i was told it would give no gain, as the clio already has a 'performance style' manifold so they cant make it any better. for the money you'd pay for one i'd spend it on other engine mods

ok cheers, thats saved me £350. Think I'll stick to buying a full system exhaust and sports cat.

thats what im doing :) powerflow will do you a good deal on a full system and sports cat, they've done the sports cat for 150 cos i bought it with an exhaust.

I think I'm gonna get a K Tec system, like the look of the 182 style exhaust they've just brought out.
