I've just read up a lot on this and plasma does seem the way to go for deep, richer colours. Plus the re-gassing myth is a aload of tosh!

I genuinely don't like how plasma's look, like how you can see the individual pixels, bit like an old crt type thing. I know what I mean anyway hehe, it's like it's showing behind a type of grid. I've not seen any brand new ones really, so they might look different, just my experience.
I don't know how people could buy without seeing them first though, as they do look very different
I've had Wharfedale stuff in the past.. always been good. I'll try to find some reviews for you tho!
