4awg wire into four 8 awg's

Would it be safe to split one 4awg wire into four 8awg wires using a distribution block. To power four AMP'S that kick out 300RMS each.

Many thanks :-)

yes mate as long as u uprate the fuse at the front to match what all the amps fuses add up to u should be fine... probably best to invest in a power cap in the near future to stop strain on the alternator

It's running a power cap. plus 2 batterys. Batterys are not linked ones for sound and ones for engine :-) ( prob need to upgrade the alternator soon any way)

get an alternator off a diesel - always a good start, i did that with my saxo when i had twins running.
