I may be completely wrong but I believe your keyboard is split in to 2 separate circuits as such (circuits is probably the wrong word but its the only thing I could think to describe it). The F5 and F6 keys are on the left side, the F7 and F8 are on the right side and your keyboard has a maximum of 3 concurrent inputs on each side hence the beep when a 4th is introduced. I believe some gaming keyboards are designed to stop this from happening.
