6 speed gearbox.

So currently have a 1.6 2009 clio Gt with the six speed gearbox, the scraping of fourth gear led me to bring it to my mechanic and with some research online to and confirmation from my mechanic it's the dreaded news that a new gearbox will be needed within say 9 months. Anyone roughly know how much this could cost me? Around 300 for a second hand one or more? Anyone any advice?
