Clio mk3 6 speed gearbox conversion

I have a clio mk3 1.6 16v vvt engine code K4M 800.

Its a 5 speed gearbox on it and i would like to convert to a 6 speed like the GT clio.

Just wanted to ask if im correct in thinking all i would have to do is get a 6 speed box off a GT and it would bolt on my 1.6 engine.? Im pretty sure both engines are exactly the same.

I might have to also replace the gearstick or just change the gearstick end bit that tells you were gears are H. If anyone could help would appriciate it

I know someone that is breaking a 2010 clio gt 1.6 vvti anyone know if this gearbox would fit on my engine.?

I would assume that they use a different bottom end so the boxes don't straight swap straight over.

If your really into the car then just drop the engine and box into yours

Your correct you will need to swap the gearstick and linkages and probably the clutch cable
