im looking at slamming my car to the ground.
i was wondering if i would get away with just changing the springs or, would i have to change the whole shocks, im not looking to spend too much money
For 60mm you really need to change the shocks too mate, although I know quite a few people who've just changed the springs and been fine for years so its a gamble really if you want to risk it.
IMO I'd just change the springs and if it kills the shocks then get uprated ones, if not then keep it as it is...
60mm won't have the 'slammed' effect that you're after, you'll need coilovers for that. You can usually get a set of second hand ones for the price of a full suspension kit.
wouldn't even chance going with just springs on 60mm. thats just my opinion! a few folk on here have said theyve lowered 60mm on just springs and dont have any problems. couldn't imagine the ride comfort right enough.
You will need coilovers and custom rear springs to get a slammed look m8y. But if you go 60mm with standard shocks you will probably need new ones after 12-18 months.
