absolutly squilch, few grand when you come to sell it. mines staying with me till it rots in half. and when it becomes un-road worthy, i'll use various parts for living room furniture in the house i buy at rock bottom price too :)

recessions f**king rock for some people lol

*but i do feel for the people who are genuinely being bent over and made redundant etc *

yea, the guy who sold it is on cliotrophy.co.uk. wasnt best pleased it going for that price iirc, was expecting alot more interest at the end of the auction.

Thats a competitive price imo

Its been well cared for id have no qualms about taking this!

As said, no ones buying any cars at the mone tdue to the fact that tax is going to be expensive next year and there not exactly the most economical cars on the road.

Theres limited market for hot-hatches at the moment imo

I'd disagree. They aren't significantly more expensive to run than a lot of hatchbacks, 35mpg.

if you Really looked you could of got a deal similar once bartered around 2 months ago.

Not sure about that. Standard 182's were still around £6k then (I know because I paid £6k for one. 05 model. Looking back, the price wasn't bad at the time. Just shocked how much its dropped since)

Just to add, completely opposite to this. There were 2 182's in the southwest Autotrader last week for £8k+ (may have been a few weeks ago actually)

doubt any 182 would get sold for 8k+ now regardless of how mint it is

I fully agree! It was just an example of how far out of touch some people are. Although cars do seem to be more expensive down here in the south west (maybe due to lack of choice?)

Agreed mate. I think my cups lost about a grand in two months.

Ah well, going to keep hold of it.

yep yep.
infact, i opted for a ff 182 as i wanted the lower miles for the same price instead of a trophy

I'm not sure I follow the whole Trophys worth more thing. Pretty sure I'd miss my xenons and I know I definately couldn't put up with the poverty spec rear bench.

Are they really that much better to drive??
