7 Clio's, 1 Modus and a Clio again in 2006

Hi from Australia.

Thanks to Renault Eurodrive I'll be taking delivery of my New Cleo 1.5 TD next May in Paris. This will be Clio number 8 I've leased / owned. 1081 kms on 50 litres - very good. This year the Modus with the same engine, less drag, less weight but 1.5 MPH less speed per 1000 RPM used 10.45% more fuel than the Clio. I gather the new Modus has a 6th gear and a better fuel injection system??? I prefer the Diesel as it's a much cheaper fuel in Europe. Please email me: whirlpudlian(at)gmail.com

The Modus 105hp dic has the 6 speed box as used in the new Clio RS.
Better is a relitive term it runs more complex injecotrs the 105hp car and makes more power though.
We used mPG in this country so your car does about 61mpg (4.5461 liters in a gallon and 8km's is about 5 miles). Thats very good though I only get about 55mpg.
The Modus in the UK comes in 80 100 and 105 hp versions (from memory) the Clio comes (in the new shape) in 80 and 105 versions.
