What is the smallest tyre (width) you can put on a 7" widre rim??

Safely Id say 195s, think 185s would be too narrow.....

nope 185s fit thats the standard williams width -- 15x7" wheels on 185/55 15 tyres.

Ok........185?? I have a set of 15x7 alloys (my old ones) and i´m thinking using them in the winter with M+S tyres, have 195 on them now but a little too wide for winter use so 185 will suit better i think.

ive got 205s on mine. loads of life left in them so i cant really justify spending out on 195s no matter how much i want to change them!

195s a Little too wide for winter use???

What exactly are you going to be doing with these 185s which you wouldnt with the 195s.....think youve been reading too many rallying magazines!!

the 195 I have now are Mich. Pilots soo not wery good (useless) in snow, want too get some M+S tyres................Are you saying that I should get some 195 again???

The car is running 165/65-14 as standart, but I´m getting it lowerd on coilovers -70mm so they are simply too small and I will showel snow in winter time!!!!

Are you trying to say thar 185" tyres will be better in the snow than 195"?....if so I would say there wouldnt be much difference between the two sizes in the snow.........In the UK the mk1 172 came with Michelin Pilots on as standard in a size 195/50 tyre these are ok in all weathers.....certainly no worse than any other tyre.

I´m from Denmark, and we have just had lots of snow, and I was showling and it´s only lowerd 35mm now. Most of us in Dk have M+S (winter tyres) and then summer tyres like the Mich. Pilot´s ect.

In the UK we only get about 3 days of snow, if were lucky, all year and most of that never sticks to the ground!!.........still there shouldnt be too much difference between a 185 and a 195 tyre in the snow........you wouldnt notice it anyway!!
