So those of you that know me, would know that I've recently made the move to New Zealand a few weeks ago, and I've finally managed to pic up this beaut!

It's a 1997 R33 Skyline GTS25T!

Really has some grunt with the RB25DET lump under the bonnet!

I pick it up Wednesday so I'll be sure to post some updates on it!

Haha I'm in Christchurch where they had a big earthquake a couple years ago so my dads got a really good job working in the rebuild. The city's gonna be epic once the rebuilds finished!

How bad is the insurance? I don't think you can get insured on them over here unless you have big bucks!

I saved up sh*t loads from when I was working so could afford to sell my Clio cheap. Insurance was £600 fully comp

Haha I was planning on just tidying up a few tiny dents and chips in the paint, but we'll see what happens

Hope you don't get bored of CHCH there ain't nothing to do ! The re-build won't be ready for at least another 5-10 years surely ?

Yeah I feel like it needs a splitter aha, it looks lowered or is it just me? Need to properly check out the suspension when I get it and see how much coilovers are

You should be able to afford the mods with how cheap the insurance is lol

Haha yeah, but the cars are really expensive out here! Back in UK it's if you can afford the insurance and the car, whereas here it's really if you can afford the car

If you've not been out there before, go check out Queenstown. I fecking loved the place. Wellington is pretty cool too TBH.

Yeah mate apart from the obvious no friends etc. I'm really enjoying it! My dads been out here since February so he's done queenstown and all that but I'm still yet to see everything, think I'm gonna wait till the summer to explore everywhere as its no fun exploring and doing stuff in the cold/rain!

I test drove it yeah, pretty awesome drive tbh. Very different to my 1.2 Clio haa.

So I managed to get it home in one piece haha took it out for a spin and I f*cking love boost!

But like all 16 year old cars it needs some tlc!

It's also had a battery relocated to the boot (I think he had a sub)

And there was some random wires and a plug hanging near the pedals, any idea what they are?

It's also got a HKS turbo timer which I have no idea how to use haha

So I plan on tidying all this up
