A Big Thanks To Edde

Was up at edde's yesterday to get the coilovers from the group buy fitted, and just wanted to say a big thanks to him for it. Went through alot of cups of tea but eventually got everything setup. The setup feels just how i wanted it and i know i wont regret getting these coileys... Its set to the lowest setting on the back, and im not sure about the front, all i know is there isnt much clearance. He did it with the standard renault 15" alloys on, but when i got home i put some 16" superleggera's on, a perfect fit with no rubbing whatsoever, even with 3 people in the back. Il get some proper pics up when the digi cam decides to work again, but here is one taken on my phone on just after i got home yesterday. Cheers again edde!

When they were fitted i still had the standard dynamique alloys on, and we kept going up the road and back testing for any rubbing... there was the smallest bit on full left lock, which i wasnt bothered about, but now the superleggera's are on there is no rubbing at all on either lock... the offset on them works out that the wheel is further out i think... plus the superleggeras are an inch wider so seem to fit the arches alot better.

check the new thread with the pics in:

There still a bit more to go at the front didn't want to set it to low after all you have to try get down the drive plus its going to sink a fewmm or so.

There still I think (need to check something first will get back to you for certain) another 7mm or so lowering at the back the front say 1.5 cm maybe but your already about as low as you'd normally want.

Cash is king I'm poor. You need to get your car back quicker though come on. (don't make it to a track car though please).

Yep its Ok realy it needs bit of tweeking on the passenger side but that due to tracking being slighty (tiny bit) out. its very tiny though.
