A bit odd...

Was just have a look on Pistonheads at some cliosports, dont know why as I am happy with my 182
But i came accross an add that said a clio 182 2006 plate. I clicked on the add:

I raed this at the bottom of the information: "WAS FIRST REGISTERED ON THE 19th OCTOBER 2005 BUT IS A 2006 MODEL YEAR CAR !!." For one its a 55 plate so how can it be a 2006 car and I thought the clio 182 was the was made in 2004-2005.

I'm pretty sure there are some 06 plate 182s, I remember when I was in the market a few years ago I saw a Titanium on an 06 plate.

My gsi is a 53 plate but comes back as a 04 plate car.

Sure I've seen a 57 plate 182 to be honest.

Doesn't really mean anything. It's just when it's registered. Doesn't mean that's when it was made etc.

Thank you for clearing that up, like I said, I have never seen it before just looked a little odd to me

The 55 reg would apply to cars registered from September 2005 to end of Feb 2006. If they're saying it was registered in October it will be a 2005 55plate. Not that it really matters as a 2005 182 will be no different to a 2006 182.

the thing that annoys me is it states full service history which suggests regular and on time, then goes on to list that there was over 25,000 and 33,000 miles between recorded services. FFS!

Mine was registered in jan 2006 but is still a 55 plate. I did see an 06 plate one while I was looking for mine

55 is until. March 1st 2006. 06 until 1st Sept 2006 and so on and so forth.

There are a few 06 plate 182s. Always make me do a double take.

I've seen a 57 plate Arctic Blue 182 a few times when I've been going to work and back, looks odd!

There's even a 09 plate Peugeot 206 in my local town lol.
