a little help. failed mot

Just wondering if anyone knows the cause of my problems.

Nearside rear parking break little or no effort
Parking break effiency below requirments
And my traction control light abs and serv light on

You went for an MOT with lots of lights on and are surprised it failed?

I've MOT'd a car knowing it'll fail before. Sometimes it's a good starting point for a to-do list.

They werent on when it went in otherwise i would of got it looked at. Any ideas what the problem could be?

How would i go about seeing if its the abs sensor?

Is the ABS working? Presuming not if the lamp is lit. Personally I'd go round and investigate each sensor and see there's anything obvious like frayed wires, other than that it's a case of having it plugged in and a diagnostic ran on it to tell you which sensor has failed (if that is the issue) also cracked ABS rings can cause ABS issues too.
