A Little Help Please!

Ok i got a couple of little niggles with my car that are starting to annoy me now!

Firstly, when you put the seats forward to let people in the back and then put them back down the seat has to slide all the way back before it clicks into place! which crushes the peoples feet in the back.

Secondly, the gearstick leather surround keeps popping out of place and i cant get it to stay in there!

Any help would be much appreciated.

mine does the first 1 think thats how its designed to return you to you driving position i think

mine does the first thing as well and the second. to fix the second i simply wedged a screw between the plastic surround and the gaitor to keep it in place

alright i guess ill just have to live the first one.

I will try wedging a screw between the plastic and the gaitor to see if that works

The gearstick gaitor can be bought from a Renault parts outlet - they are £3.80 inc vat IIRC

Just cut the old one off and the new one clicks in - the top part is secured with a cable tie that is stitched into the gaitor
