just thinking do buckets hold your posture better i find myself really sloucjhing and leaning to one side in standard seats , will buckets and harnesses help stop this, just thinking of ways to help my back out
They will definitely stop you leaning to the side due to the high side bolsters, they wont stop you slouching though. Only you can correct your posture. Try driving whilst balancing a book on your head
I get sore backs all the time and I think my fixed back buckets are more forgiving than the standard seats tbh.
not really, as i find myself loosening off the belts and slouching down in them, although IMO the std 172 seats are the worse seats in the world if you have a dodgy back!
Yeah i used to get back ache after long drives with my cheapo cup seats, loads better with the buckets. Those CG locks are supposed to help reduce slouching with std seat belts, but never used one. Get some 6 point race harneses, you wont be slouching with them!
The standard RS seats dont hold you in for s**t and that lumbar support is good for nothing. With aftermarket seats, I have found that they support you in all the right places and actually promote better posture, not just when sitting in them but also when walking.
