Not sure but they aren't fake plates. Look at the post I did before the HPI one. The registrations come back with the right car details.
The no DVLA records means that the car doesn't exist according to them anymore.

maybe they have just been bought as scrapped cars for parts then.

Lets look at the facts...
The E46 bmw has been dumped. There is no other reason for it being parked on that angle. If that was your legit workshop, the angle of it parked like that would annoy you for starters.
Then there's the fact all the cars are either dumped on their discs or old wheels are propping them up. If you were a legit business you'd have stands.
Then there's the type of cars that are there. BMW/MErc and some 4x4's. Even a lambo ffs! All what thieves can strip and sell on easily. (apart from the lambo, obviously)
I'm not a gambling man, but i'll put a 5iver on it with you that those cars are part of something illegal. Care to make that bet?

If the lambo is stolen then surely that would be flagged when you attempt to register it with the DVLA?
Also, what's a Lambo worth in that condition? i presume all of it's running gear has gone.

Police now know about the cars, they seem to be taking it seriously, they checked all 3 number plates and none of them were on their databases. They are sending a team round tomorrow.
I did pop back on the way home and the door to the lambo garage had been closed and the security gate to another compound (within the outside compound) had been opened and it was closed/locked yesterday. I didn't venture any further just in case!!
Will see what comes of it by the end of the week.

Bit of an update, the police have found the owner of the units, the cars aren't stolen, he has produced the log books for all of them.
So, it is a genuine abandoned unit of non dodgy cars.
The police said the reason it was left was due to family problems.

These are in a field about 10 minutes from my house. Been there ever since I was a kid!
Do i recognise these right Dan, on the Badminton Rd at Mayshill opposite the New Inn, Couldn't see them probably until whoever owns the field cut down the brambles

Don,t know about how old Dan is , but yes they have been there a good few years now, they never seem to move and the weeds just grow back
Dan's in his early 30's, but his hair line is in it's 60's.
