Abit of help finding a gearbox ??

hi i not so long ago purchased a clio 182 and about 2 weeks ago the gearbox blew up. . . i have been looking everywhere for a new gearbox as a recon ive been told will cost around £350 + vat.

Ive found a 172 box would this fit ? ?

and if not does any1 know where i can find a 182 box ?

None at all. Same box. Check the gearbox code..

If it's the JC5 130, it's exactly the same.

If it's the JC5 129, it'll have a speedo sensor, just ignore this, it's irrelevant for you.

ok the box ive found is the JC5 129 but its a bargin price.. so think ill go ahead and order cheers
