ABS and ESP fault

Had my 200 on the rollers today, no issues at all and parked it up fine afterwards.

An hour or so later when I come to leave, the ABS warning light along with the ESP light are illuminated and I get two dashboard messages telling me I have errors with both systems. ESP button was non-responsive and stopping/restarting it a couple of times gave the same warnings/errors.

Third attempt and all was clear. A quick check around a roundabout confirmed ESP was functioning and a hard stop confirmed ABS was also all good.

Any ideas? Did the ECU simply get a bit confused by the rolling road session and throw a hissy fit?

Or have I got some expense coming soon?

Or is it just because it's French?

So, you've had the front wheels spinning up on some rollers with the rear wheels stationary? Traction control was probably thinking you are spinning on ice for ages.... Did the rollers people turn off traction/esp etc?

was indeed because you were on the rollers with the front wheels turning & rear wheels stationary.... soon as the car is driven normally for a short distance the both lights should go out. i get it on loads when working, spinning just one wheel while the others are not moving etc.
