ABS and other problems

Recently my abs light has come on and i was wondering what could cause this, i dont really know where to look, i took a picture of the abs rings on both sides of the car, are these worn enough to make this light come on,

Also my car failed its MOT on the front anti-roll bar linkages, due to them being insecure and worn, could some one please tell me what these are if it is not this:

The abs fault could be a faulty sensor, however id check all round the front and rear rings aswel. The ones youve took a pic of could do with a clean with a wire brush or a old toothbrush. As for the anti roll bar links, this is a common problem, your pic is correct, the new kits are not expensive and they are easy to fit.
