ABS and SERV light, NO WORKING ABS

Hello all,

One day whilst driving my 02 ph2 172 the ABS and SERV lights came on. I have since tested the brakes and the ABS does not work.

Can anyone give advice as what I should do first to try and rectify this?

Diagnostic check for fault codes, probably find out it's a faulty abs sensor or something.

Check ur abs relucter rings. Might be cracked or teeth missing.

Sensor or rings!! Mine are both on but I also have traction control light on, and was diagnosed on the machine as abs sensor...

Thing is the problem is not always there. For the past few days I have noticed that the warning lights do not show up and the ABS works when its mighty cold outside.

Any ideas why?

Could be anything matey I would more likely say its on the electrical side, If was a pick up point it would do it all the time !!!!

Without getting it plugged in everyone will be guessing at the fault.

I have a similar fault but mine looks like its either the loom or at worse the abs module and I can go days with out it coming on lol

Mine turned out to be the CV boot had split and the grease had clogged up the sensor !!
